The 4th ADRIATIC DRUG ADDICTION TREATMENT CONFERENCE  and the 6th SEEA (South Eastern European Adriatic Addiction Treatment Network) SYMPOSIUM ON ADDICTIVE BEHAVIOURS are just three months away.

We hope that so many of you will be in Budva, Montenegro to celebrate SEEA net Conference and Symposium and to be a part of the premier addiction treatment conference in the region.

The organizers are all excited about hopefully excellent conference program developed by our conference planning committees and coming together at no-formal meetings as Welcome reception and our new wonderful Conference party and Awards banquet.

We are proud to welcome you all in a beautiful city of Budva together with many colleagues throughout SEEA region and numerous international representatives, representing as well the partnership that SEEA net has developed with SPECIALIZED PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL KOTOR – MONTENEGRO, WHO, EUROPAD, other international organizations and members of the World Federation for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence.

SEEA net 2009 is a meeting that anyone concerned with the people who benefit from our services will want to attend.

Our main conference topics are treatment of drug users with comorbidity and cooperation with existent drug prevention and treatment services, specially psychiatric but not at all excluding other medical, social and other services and NGOs in the region, specially Montenegro, treatment of Hepatitis C, different praxis trough the region and  treatment in prisons.

We have made every effort to place the focus on our patients and the integration of recovery oriented systems of care.

The conference site, the Hotel Montenegro Beach Resort, Becici, Montenegro, is just a step from the beautiful Adriatic coast, so be sure to make reservations of your accommodation as soon as possible, as the number of rooms is limited. And surely, plan to take some time to enjoy the warm spring.

It is an honor to invite you to attend 1st MONTENEGRIAN PSYCHIATRIC DAYS, which are to be held together with 4th ADRIATIC DRUG ADDICTION TREATMENT CONFERENCE and the 6th SEEA (South Eastern European Adriatic Treatment Network) SYMPOSIUM ON ADDICTIVE BEHAVIOURS.

These events will take place in Hotel Montenegro Beach Resort in Budva, Montenegro, May 21 – 23, 2009.
Considering that the academic meetings of professionals from the field of mental health represent a necessary base for continuing education, we hope that the upcoming meeting will give us the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and improve coordination of interdisciplinary levels.

Our intention is that 1st MONTENEGRIAN PSYCHIATRIC DAYS include subjects from all disciplines of psychiatry. We would especially like to encourage case study presentations because it seems to us that in a context of contemporary trends of accumulation of clinical studies, the patient as an individual sometimes slips out of focus of our attention
